Abstract In the published version of the article, Fig. 9 (a) was inadvertently duplicated from Fig. 8 (a). The correct Fig. 9 (a) should show the relationship between tributary sediment concentration and bed scour volume. The corrected Fig. 9 is provided below and comprises Fig. 9 (a), showing bed scour volume, and Fig. 9 (b), showing bed deposition volume. Fig. 9 (b) remains unchanged from the originally published version. Fig. 9
